Bespoke Jointing Services is a specialist cable jointing and electrical engineering company, established in 2019 by Ian MacAulay, providing expert services to DNOs, IDNOs, and private networks across the UK.

Ian began his career as an electricity board apprentice in 2005, gaining extensive hands-on experience over 14 years. During this time, he became fully accredited in LV, HV, and 33kV jointing, specialising in fault response, supply restoration, and the maintenance of both underground and overhead electricity networks. His focus has always been on delivering safe, reliable solutions while minimising supply interruptions.

Since our formation, Bespoke Jointing Services has grown rapidly, building strong relationships with a wide range of clients and partners. Our reputation is built on providing bespoke, high-quality services that are second to none. We now offer a comprehensive range of cable jointing services, from domestic installations through to 33kV primary substation builds.

In addition, we operate fully trained riser and lateral main installation teams, capable of managing projects from the substation through to the final meter position — even in high-rise buildings of up to 30 storeys.
